just FYI, you might be interested in this video of a omnidirectional robot<br>
base we're controlling via a bunch of shell scripts that invoke<br>
'ethercat' with certain parameters to control the four motors. After a<br>
bit of work to figure out what has to be done, the IGH software worked<br>
quite nicely for our purposes so far (this is only a just-for-fun demo,<br>
of course, but still nice :-).<br>
