<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Hello dear Etherlab-Users,<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>I have a question concerning the use of
SimMechanics in conjunction with Etherlab. If anyone has any experience with
this, an answer or any useful information would be greatly appreciated.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>I’m currently trying to implement a
SimMechanics(part of Simulink) model into a control system which uses Etherlab.
The model compiles with warnings saying e.g.:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>testbench_kmod: Unknown symbol
mech_2Erdl7FY9HDft_6KKrAbi_<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>When I try inserting the file with the
command:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>MPT43:/home/tester/100427_testbench # insmod
testbench_kmod.ko<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>It says:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>insmod: error inserting
'testbench_kmod.ko': -1 Unknown symbol in module<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Without any SimMechanics Blocks, the model
compiles without those particular warnings and the insmod command and
everything else works. I already tried a minimal SimMechanics model with only
four Block, but it has the same problem.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>What is the cause for this problem and how
do I fix it?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Thanks in advance<o:p></o:p></span></p>
