<div><span class="font" style="font-family: Calibri;"><span class="size" style="font-size: 16px;">Hello,</span></span><br></div><p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span class="font" style="font-family: Calibri;"><span class="size" style="font-size: 16px;">I would like to setup a linux realtime system as EtherCat slave. The plan
is to outsource a part of our real-time applicationsĀ on our existing NI PXI HiL system to another PC with data exchange over
EtherCat. There is a vendor who offers an EtherCat slave PCI card along with
drivers and an API to create EtherCat slaves (</span></span><a href="https://esd.eu/en/products/ecs-pciefpga"><span class="font" style="font-family: Calibri;"><span class="size" style="font-size: 16px;"><span class="colour" style="color: rgb(5, 99, 193);">https://esd.eu/en/products/ecs-pciefpga</span></span></span></a><span class="font" style="font-family: Calibri;"><span class="size" style="font-size: 16px;">).
My thought was, that a version of the libethercat library could be created that would
connect the real time simulation with the ethercat slave just in the same way
that it is working now with the etherlab master module. Has anyone done
this before or can suggest us a way to go? I would be glad about any suggestions
and hints.</span></span><br></p><div><span class="font" style="font-family: "Calibri",sans-serif;"><span class="size" style="font-size: 11pt;">Matthias</span></span><br></div>
