Hi all,

we are currently investigating spurious increments of the E_PUEC that happens about every 30 minutes (but not regularily). The E_PUEC is incremented on ALL slaves and simulatenously, also the E_FREC is incremente on all slaves and ports (e.g. P[0] on slave 1..n and P[1] on slave n-1 ... 0). We have a simple linear bus.

Slaves are currently ELMO DC BELL, Omron NX-ECC203 and on some busses also NANOTEC C5 and one PI E-727, but it happens just with ELMO and NCC already.

I could not find anything in the net about this E_PUEC. I also do not understand the output of

ethercat diag -v:

0 0:0 PREOP + E_FREC E_PUEC 0x0000009a:0x00030924
Forwarded RX Error Counter - P[1]: 2
ECAT Processing Unit Error Counter - << iter->ECAT_Processing_Unit_Error_Counter
1 0:1 PREOP + E_FREC E_PUEC 0x0000009a:0x00030924
Forwarded RX Error Counter - P[0]: 2 P[1]: 2
ECAT Processing Unit Error Counter - << iter->ECAT_Processing_Unit_Error_Counter
2 0:2 PREOP + E_FREC E_PUEC NX-ECC203 EtherCAT coupler V1.7
Forwarded RX Error Counter - P[0]: 2 P[1]: 2
ECAT Processing Unit Error Counter - << iter->ECAT_Processing_Unit_Error_Counter
3 0:3 PREOP + E_FREC E_PUEC C5-E-2-21 EtherCAT Drive (CoE)
Forwarded RX Error Counter - P[0]: 2 P[1]: 2
ECAT Processing Unit Error Counter - << iter->ECAT_Processing_Unit_Error_Counter
4 0:4 PREOP + E_FREC E_PUEC NX-ECC203 EtherCAT coupler V1.7
Forwarded RX Error Counter - P[0]: 2
ECAT Processing Unit Error Counter - << iter->ECAT_Processing_Unit_Error_Counter

what is it with this << iter->...?

Reading the E_PUEC (0x30C) directly, it gives me in this example 2 for every slave.

Thanks for any insight on this!

Best regards,
Michael
