From fp at igh-essen.com Thu Oct 25 13:25:09 2012 From: fp at igh-essen.com (Florian Pose) Date: Thu, 25 Oct 2012 13:25:09 +0200 Subject: [etherlab-announce] EtherCAT master 1.5 with RTDM interface and redundancy Message-ID: <50892195.3080202@igh-essen.com> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Dear users of the IgH EtherCAT master, some of you are already using the RTDM interface in the default branch. I did a complete revision of the code and transparently integrated it to the stable-1.5 branch. To use it, just configure with - --enable-rtdm and link to the ethercat_rtdm library. I'd like to thank Mr. Benner and Mr. Foot for their basic work. Moreover I'd like to mention George Broz from Moog Inc., California, who made the revision and integration possible. Some of you might have noticed, that I also merged the redundancy branch into stable-1.5, so that the operation with 2 Ethernet devices per master is also possible now. There are a few API extensions regarding this, for more information, see the section "Changed since 1.5" in the header file include/ecrt.h. For questions and other feedback, please post to the etherlab-users mailing list. - -- Kind regards and happy coding, Florian Pose etherlab.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAlCJIZUACgkQABFOIMygR8wR/QCdFyeaBkBdku+RU0Vlcf1FAqaD 5u0AoLI/jKxSY8BrDtkeqdGkc2nX372b =51Ty -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- From fp at igh-essen.com Thu Oct 25 13:25:09 2012 From: fp at igh-essen.com (Florian Pose) Date: Thu, 25 Oct 2012 13:25:09 +0200 Subject: [etherlab-announce] EtherCAT master 1.5 with RTDM interface and redundancy Message-ID: <50892195.3080202@igh-essen.com> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Dear users of the IgH EtherCAT master, some of you are already using the RTDM interface in the default branch.
