Hello,
I started the ethercat master using:
/etc/init.d/ethercat start

and I received:

"Starting Ethercat master devel                                             done"

but i can't see any other status or debug messages .

Is It correct?

How can I check if the ethercat master is working correctly on my system?

I have Open SUSE11 with kernel version : 2.6.27.29-0.1
