Hello all
This idea just came to my mind: Why not use ZerMQ sockets (see
http://www.zeromq.org/) for connecting the DLS datasource with clients
(e.g. the dlsd). One could develop a ZeroMQ protocol (called
"unprotocol" in the ZerMQ guide) for various scenarios (e.g.
publish-subscribe if you have multiple clients). Additionaly alternative
"data logger clients" could be developed using this "ZeroMQ-interface".
It's just a thought, but what do you think?
Regards
Andy
