Hi， Erwin，
Enclose files are r8168 driver for standard kernel 2.6.23.
I have test it on FC8.
Because my project have not full start, the test may be incompletely.
If it could go into the official sources of the “Igh EtherCAT Master”, that is very nice.

Could you share that driver sources with the community?

If not yet done, fine thing would be, if it would go into the official
sources of the "IgH EtherCAT Master".

Would you be so kind to send it in the meanwhile to me?

I would have to port it to 2.6.22 anyway. ;-)
