No, it isn't, it's a feature... ;-)

Sorry, I should have notices earlier: The Hilscher devices don't support
the LRW datagram type (see output of 'ethercat slave -v -> "noLRW"). The
correct solution is (as you did) to create separate domains for inputs
and outputs!
