Quick update: The driver seems to work fine as of r1718. I had issues
with r1667 I think (no TX or no RX, don't remember), but that issue is
already fixed in newer tarballs.

The only thing I'm seeing now is some warnings, but they don't seem to
be critical, our robot base drives around happily regardless.
