[etherlab-users] Problem running examples::mini

Freshly downloaded from sourceforge: Etherlab master package, build 
March 29th, 2010,
installation went through without a hitch, communication with Beckhoff 
EL1008 is working fine.
The make for the 'Mini' example went through with only some warnings 
about missing symbols for ecrt_**** functions.
When trying to run the example, these same symbol names come up in error 
messages stating the symbols are missing.

I'm sure I have to install something (PDCOM?) - any hint appreciated.
