[etherlab-users] state of the slave

Hi,

I use the ecrt_slave_config_state( ) function to read the state of a salve. If I disconnect a slave during the cyclic phase,
the state of other connected slaves switch from 8(OP) to 0. But it is still possible to read the correct process data of the connected ones. The command of the commandline-tool "ethercat slaves" shows that the master starts to scan the bus.
If the scan finished, the states of the slaves switch back to 8(OP). Is there a faster way to get know the current state?

Kind regards

Juri Gerke
