thanks for the fast reply. We will first start to discuss the problem with HBM.
I looked into Beckhoffs FB1111 Slave Sample Code. There these CoE SDO definitions are uint16 with size 16 bit.

(Usually we use this stuff only on the Matlab level ;-)
