You need to install ethercat-1.5.4adb56c4198d-2.1.i586.rpm and
libethercat1-1.5.4adb56c4198d-2.1.i586.rpm.
If you want the development headers then
ethercat-devel-1.5.4adb56c4198d-2.1.i586.rpm
You will then have the ethercat executable (/usr/bin/ethercat) and also
the ethercat service which can be enabled via YaST runlevels, there is
also a sysconfig entry which can be modified via YaST /etc/sysconfig
editor.
