[etherlab-users] ./configure not succeeding

I have it there as well.  Hmmm....

Ok, I did this, except with the final argument being
--with-linux-dir=/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.21-0.25-obj/i586/default

and it finished the same way (config.status: executing depfiles commands).

I then just typed 'make' and I didn't see any problems.  As a matter of
fact, I got a lot of "Nothing to be done for..." messages.  I'll assume all
is well.

Now I'm confused.  In the INSTALL file there are a bunch of other commands,
like 'make all modules' and 'depmod' and 'ln -s ...' and such.  Do I not
need those?  All I want to do is run an etherCat master....
