You are mixing some things up.
The EtherLab blockset enables you to use EtherCAT slaves within executables
that are generated using Simulink Coder (formally Real-Time Workshop).
When your executable is running, you use Test Manager to view signals and
change parameters. DLS is used to log signals so that you can view them
later.
PdCom is a library that handles the communication to the executable when you
write a custom front end or visualizer (just like Test Manager) (in fact,
DLS and Test Manager should be using PdCom to connect to the executable, but
they don't because they were developed before the PdCom library was
finished)
