[etherlab-users] r8169 patch - packet timeout boot failures

hey

I have a problem from time to time that the ethercat interface ( eth1 )
does not send packets. I believe this is a problem in the realtek driver.
I am using 3.2-rt8 kernel.
questions:
1. why do you disable the rtl8169_phy_timer  timer ?
2.  In rtl_hw_start_8168 : why do disable RTL_W16(IntrMask,
tp->intr_event); ?
