Hello everyone:

I pull the latest patch of etherlab, which is
33b922ec1871ea835f662ac1041317e815a8fdfd, yes, it is updated in 20180622.

I want to apply the ec_igb.ko, but so pity, I found it abnormal.

So, I switch the DEVICE_MODULE to "generic", and it work correctly.

         Let me descript my trouble:

My OS is "Linux robotx 4.8.15-rt10 #1 SMP PREEMPT RT Tue Feb 6
07:45:14 EST 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux" after "uname -a".

And my network card is igb i210.

I found just 4.9 for igb appeared in device/igb, so, I took some
modification to make it suitable for 4.8.15, and then, it can work.

I run it at 1KHz, with DC style, I found data-loss almost every
2.5s.

Furthermore, I print the cost of "ecrt_master_receive", I found it
always about 500000us when the data-loss appeared.

At the same time, I took another test, I switch the DEVICE_MODULE
to "generic", I found it work correctly without any data-loss.

I don't know why It is normal with ec_generic.ko, but, it is
abnormal with ec_igb.ko

Is there any one would tell me how to solve this trouble?

         Best Regards

                                                             icework
