Hi,

We get the following error when trying to build EtherCAT master 1.5.2 (cloned from mercurial):

make -C "/home/acte/kernel/linux-4.9.115" M="/home/acte/EtherCAT/ethercat-hg" modules
make[1]: Entering directory '/home/acte/kernel/linux-4.9.115'
make[3]: *** No rule to make target '/home/acte/EtherCAT/ethercat-hg/devices/generic.o', needed by '/home/acte/EtherCAT/ethercat-hg/devices/ec_generic.o'. Stop.
scripts/Makefile.build:547: recipe for target '/home/acte/EtherCAT/ethercat-hg/devices' failed

This is after we have done:

    ./bootstrap

    ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/etherlab --disable-8139too --enable-generic

    make all modules

This is on a machine with 18.04.1 LTS and the PREEMPT RT patch.

We are new to EtherLab so perhaps we're missing something obvious?

Regards,

Christian & Joachim
