these warnings are ok, they just tell you that the given symbols are not
part of the standard kernel. The rest of the compilation looks ok.

Could you please tell us, which symbols are undefined ('dmesg | tail' or
'tail /var/log/messages')? Did you forget to start the master? All this
is covered by the documentation. Perhaps you should read it first...
