The locking mechanism has to be re-worked. The problem is, that it has
to be independent of any realtime-extension. An idea was to replace the
request/release callbacks by a callback that hands over a datagram for
sending. The application then could queue and send the datagram when the
time is right. I'm just searching for a few ideas...

Any suggestions?
