[etherlab-users] Device Node Creation...continued

Hello all,

Looks like I am having the same problem as Oliver but unfortunately when I
scour the mailing list, his solution is not stated for others (I think the
emails between people weren't sent to the list maybe?).  Here is a link to a
thread that asks his question and then in a latter thread he is no longer
getting this error due to the master working correctly and /dev/EtherCAT0
being created.

The problem I am facing:

Anyone now how I can get past this?

My setup is:

OS: Ubuntu 10.04 32-bit
kernel: 2.6.31-11-rt
rtai: 3.7.1-1
ethercat master: 1.5 devel snapshot
