[etherlab-users] where is ring position come from?

Hi ALL,

    From document "slave position" is "the absolute ring position in the
bus" .
Does etherlab assign ring position base on network topology?

    For example, I have two slaves and one master , connected as below.
    the slave1 always assign position 0? slave2 always assign position 1?

master------slave1--------slave2
