That does bring up a point.  A while back I was trying to figure out whether I should be using the trunk or the stable-1.5 branch when trying to use the "latest and greatest" features (and more importantly, bugfixes).

Contrary to my expectations, it appeared that the newest features and bugfixes were only present on the stable-1.5 branch, and that the trunk was very out of date.

Is it supposed to be like that?  It doesn't seem like it should be.
