Hi together,

i try to run a slave (LAN9252) without using the EK1100 Bus Coppler.

/opt/etherlab/bin/ethercat slaves --> 0  0:0  PREOP  + Generic

The Slave Index of the device is therefor 0

I get the following error in the terminal when i try to execute the program:

Fatal error: Starting EtherCAT subsystem failed:
ecrt_master_slave_config() failed while configuring slave 0:0

After this i want to use the alias addressing, but i cant change it
(also can't change it for EtherCAT Beckhoff modules)

/opt/etherlab/bin/ethercat alias -p0 100
Failed to read SII: Failed to write SII: Input/output error

the slave works without a problem when i use it at another position or
connect it after a EK1100

What can i do to use the slave at position zero without using the EK1100
coppler?

BR Mark
