Hi Mike,

I'm using upstream ethercat on Linux 5.12.15 without issues:

    https://gitlab.com/etherlab.org/ethercat

The only "inconvenient" I have is I must use the generic driver, i.e. I
need to configure it with `./configure --disable-8139too`.
